Toxics Reduction Act

The Toxics Reduction Act (TRA) was passed in the Ontario Legislature in June 2009. The purpose of the legislation is to "promote reductions in the use and creation of prescribed toxic substances, inform Ontarians about toxic substances in their communities, and to help ensure that Ontario is well positioned to compete in an increasingly green global economy".
As part of the requirement of the Toxics Reduction Act, Cam Tran Co Ltd must provide an annual report made available to the public and their employees. Cam Tran's annual reports are available for download for each reporting year below.

In addition to the annual reports, a facility is required to develop and provide summaries of its plans to reduce toxic substances.
